Champion Debate is a non-profit organization dedicated to introducing middle and rising high-school students to the world of debate by offering a quality program at a low cost. The camp is mostly run by experienced debaters from the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. However, we claim no affiliation to Thomas Jefferson, Fairfax County Public Schools, or any other related organizations.
At the end of our program, after expenses are deducted, we donate our proceedes to charity. In past years, we have donated to Project Fey and other organizations-- this year, we will be donating to buildOn. Below, we've included a description of buildOn.
From the beginning, seeded by inspiration and the desire to empower youth to transform themselves and their communities, buildOn has been about changing the world. And we are doing so, with results as impressive as the passion that drives the students who have dedicated themselves to buildOn’s mission.
