Welcome to the application page, the first step in applying for Champion Debate Camp! Please fill out a ticket below, and several minutes after you send your ticket, you should receive a confirmation e-mail. At certain dates (marked on our calendar), we will accept all applications received up to that date, and send an e-mail with further instructions. Please note that these tickets are non-binding-- you are free to drop until the acceptance packet is filled out. Thank you for your interest, and we'll see you soon!

Overview
Champion Debate Camp will be running for a special, first-time two week session. Based on three years of parent and camper surveys, our staff felt a second week would be beneficial for debaters interested in pursuing high-school careers. With this in mind, Champion Debate Camp's two weeks are as follows:
- Week One (Jun. 23-27): The first week will focus on introducing campers to debate, teaching basic skills and effective speaking. An end of camp tournament will give campers the opportunity to try out their new skills.
- Week Two (Jun. 28-Jul. 2): The second week is for advanced and dedicated campers. Instead of a defined schedule, campers will receive more individualized and flexible training with a focus on high-end arguments and speaking practices.
During the application process, it is necessary that we ask all interested applicants to submit a $25 deposit with their acceptance package (which we will e-mail after your ticket has been received). If all materials are received and postmarked by May 2, then the deposit will be refunded in full. All entries received after this date are late and subject to a late fee (please see our calendar for more information).

Champion Debate '10
Champion Debate '10 will be our largest program yet, offering an extended two-week program for interested debaters and returning campers, as well as a qualified staff. Applications now open!
Champion Debate '09
Champion Debate '09 ended with a triumphant closing ceremony and talent show, having taught 34 campers vital skills in debate. Many of these campers showed exemplary skill during the tournament.
